In this way we reach our goals: through education en demonstration we keep the diving history "alive and kicking". Also it is a beautiful way to promote the helmet diving, both by giving people a chance to dive with this equipment as well as by our presence at exhibitions and shows.

 

Which level do I need for diving with the helmet???

Non at all, diving in the Siebe Gorman helmet is very safe. The only thing you need to do is go on breathing. It is a pre if you have diving experience because then you know about diving fysiology and fysics and poor visibility.


Is it heavy???

Although the complete set weighs over 70 kilograms it is only heavy while the divers stays at the surface. Therefore we chose two different pools with a good entrance. While you are in the water you’ll find out that the weight reduces to almost nothing, it even is possible to get a positive buoyancy. …


What age is required???

Age is not important. You must consider the weight of the gear. A big lad from 16 can carry the weight better than a small size adult….. Even a granny 60 years old took a dive, and really enjoyed it. If you have a back ache don’t consider diving.


Do you come to another location???

We have two beautiful locations. Please take a look at the page of De IJzeren Man and Manta Diving. It is very safe and comfortable. The presence of a bar and other facility’s makes these locations ideal. Only in special circumstances we come to another location but we check it first. The standard is safety.


How can I prove that I have been diving in the helmet???

After the dive we stamp your logbook with one of our two stamps. We also provide divers with a logbookpage.
